How many guests can the barn accommodate?
The barn can seat up to 175 guests with room left for dancing. It can also accommodate an indoor ceremony for up to 175 guests if the weather prevents an outdoor ceremony. During a tour, we can show you how the room feels with different layouts and guest counts.
Is the venue accessible?
The barn’s indoor reception area and restrooms are ADA accessible. An accessible route connects the parking area with the barn and the outdoor ceremony area, and designated accessible parking is available beside the ramp. Golf-cart assistance may also be available for older guests or anyone who needs help moving around the property.

Can we have both the ceremony and reception here?
Yes. Outdoor ceremony options include the lawn and gazebo or field, with the barn available as an indoor alternative. The reception takes place in the barn.
What happens if it rains?
If an outdoor ceremony is no longer practical, the ceremony can move into the barn. Our staff need at least two hours to prepare the indoor setup and will handle the venue’s ceremony chairs. We will discuss the weather decision and backup plan with you before the wedding.
What is included with the venue?
Current packages include tables, chairs, white linens, lighting, parking attendants, licensed bar service, bartenders, ADA-accessible restrooms and day-of coordination.
Our staff will set up everything owned by the venue and handle the general and deep cleaning. Couples and vendors set up and remove anything they bring.

Is there a place to get ready on site?
Yes. The Bridal Farmhouse sits steps from the barn and is available according to current package terms.
Can we hold an event other than a wedding at the barn?
Absolutely! We handle all types of celebrations, baby showers, bridal shower, and celebration of life, anniversary & birthday parties, as well corporate events so contact us for those special rates
Do we choose our own caterer and other vendors?
Our preferred-vendor list is optional and based on people we have worked with and are comfortable recommending.
How does alcohol work?
The Maine Wedding Barn operates an on-premise licensed bar, and our bartenders are included with the rental. The bar can be arranged as an open bar, cash bar, drink-ticket system, limited selection or a combination. Specialty drinks are also available.
We will discuss specific drinks, brands, charges and service details during a tour. Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property.

What about insurance?
Couples are required to obtain general liability insurance.
When should we schedule a tour?
TODAY! We provide tours all year long, not just during our operating months of May through October.
