Your morning might begin in the farmhouse, getting ready with your closest friends and family members.
From there, it’s a short walk through the gardens to exchange vows with the Western Maine mountains behind you. Later, everyone gathers in the barn for dinner, speeches and dancing beneath the beautifully restored wooden beams. Every part of the day happens close by, allowing you and your guests to relax and enjoy it together.
We’re Barbara and John. Since opening the barn at Farview Farm in 2012, we’ve welcomed more than 250 weddings and events. We have put years of care into this place, from the gardens and thoughtfully restored spaces to the small details that help each celebration feel special. We feel lucky every time a couple chooses the Maine Wedding Barn, and we’d love to hear what you’re planning.

What We OFFER
The lawn, gazebo and carefully tended gardens look out across the fields and forest toward the Western Maine mountains. Your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception can all happen here, giving the day a natural flow and leaving you with more time to spend with your guests. The setting feels peaceful and private, even though Lewiston-Auburn is only a few minutes away.
The former hayloft has been transformed into a warm and elegant reception space while preserving the timber and character that make it so distinctive. High wooden ceilings, soft white drapery and carefully chosen lighting create a beautiful setting for dinner and dancing, with room for up to 175 seated guests. The open layout can be arranged around your plans and the atmosphere you want to create.
Soft ceiling lighting, tables, chairs, white linens, setup and cleanup staff, parking attendants, ADA-accessible restrooms, licensed bar service and on-site day-of coordination are included. We take pride in keeping the barn, gardens and surrounding property beautifully cared for, and we put the same attention into preparing the venue for every wedding.
You can focus on the choices that make the celebration yours, from the food and music to the flowers, photographs and small details that mean something to you. On the day, we stay close, keep things moving and deal with the unexpected while you spend your time celebrating with the people you love.
